Gooey, fudge like chocolate cake covered with fudge icing is a real treat. I made this cake for Paul, my brother in law birthday. A scoop of ice cream added on the side finished this cake off very nicely!

Light and delicate individual sponge cakes are so lovely and look so pretty displayed on a cake stand or plate. I made Victoria sponge with buttercream and strawberry jam filling, as well as chocolate sponge filled with fudge icing. Delicious with a cup of tea sitting in the garden with the sun out!
