Surrey Cream Tea

The family popped over for a cream tea in our garden. Luckily the sun came out later in the afternoon which meant we could sit outside without a cardi on! I made traditional English scones accompanied with clotted cream and strawberry jam. I also made a lemon drizzle cake, which I am told was really nice. I didn't manage to get a slice before it was all eaten :(  I also made a strawberry milkshake cake topped with white chocolate mice. A cake for those with a very very sweet tooth. Maybe even a a bit too sweet for me which is saying something! English scones Lemon Drizzle cake Stawberry milkshake cake

Snoopy Birthday cake

A vanilla sponge filled with whipped butter cream and strawberry jam. Since my sister is a big snoopy fan I attempted to design a snoopy topping for the cake. Here's my attempt :-

Salty peanut honeycomb chocolate slab

Any chocholic will love this. The salted peanuts combined with the crushed honeycomb is a delicious combination. I finished it off with a spinkle of gold glitter and stars! Salty peanut honeycomb choclate slab

Ben's chocolate filled cookies

I made this as a bank holiday Monday brunch treat. They are filled with chocolate and very tasty especially with a fresh cup of coffee!
