Celebrating environmental success at Kingston University

As part of my work celebration of the annual Green Impact Awards, I made a few classic English cakes 🎂 The classic Butterfly cakes, which reminds me of my childhood and a mini Victoria sponge. As my colleague commented, a mini Victoria sponge reminds her of a summer scone with lashings of jam and cream.

Staff celebrated the environmental achievements of the past year at this event.

Cheesecake with a hint of lime

This is a light, creamy cheesecake with crushed digestive biscuit base. You can also use ginger biscuits as a change. I decorated the top with edible flowers. Borage. So pretty 😍

Marble birthday cake 🎂

A delicious chocolate and vanilla marble effect sponge. Filled and topped with chocolate butter icing and then finished with some gold sprinkles!

Bad Boys Bakery lemon treacle slice OMG

The recipe used by the bad boys bakery in Gordon Ramsey's excellent TV series `Gordon behind bars'. This lemon treacle slice is divine.
