Chocolate cola cake


I made this rather scrumptious cake from a James Martin recipe. The cola made it very moist. I will put the recipe up shortly as I think this is a good easy and tasty cake to make. The birthday Erin said `Its the best choclate cake ever. Its really rich but also moist.' Now thats a compliment and a half!

    Very surprised that Lee liked it so much. I would have thought it was too much for his usual lightweight pudding attitude. I mean fancy having lemon meringue pie as you favourite pudding! We need stodge!

Lemon Cupcakes with sprinkles on top

These lemon cupcakes were made for my colleague, Stephanie `Baby send off' at work. She goes off on maternity leave very soon.   I added lemon juice and lemon rind to both the sponge and butter icing for a lovely zesty flavour. Then added sprinkles on top to finish them off!
