Flapjack - one of my favourites

I treated myself over the weekend by making a batch of flapjacks with a few choc chips mixed in. One of my all time flapjacks, this recipe by Rachel Allen is the best I have found so far.

This is the chocolate marble cake I made for my nephews school fete in the classic Guess the weight of the cake competition. The answer: 13lb and 12oz.

Mums 70th birthday cake

For mums birthday we gave a holiday to the donkey sanctuary so it seems very appropriate to make a cake with a donkey on the top!
