Lockdown loaf style birthday cake

 A small loaf style cake is ideal for anyone celebrating their birthday during lockdown.  This size cake cuts nicely into 5 slices. That's 2 slices and more in a household of 2!

This vanilla birthday cake I made for my mums birthday 🎂 It is filled with strawberry jam and creamy butter icing.

Lemon Cupcakes with sprinkles on top

These lemon cupcakes were made for my colleague, Stephanie `Baby send off' at work. She goes off on maternity leave very soon.   I added lemon juice and lemon rind to both the sponge and butter icing for a lovely zesty flavour. Then added sprinkles on top to finish them off!
